Fu Yu Corporation, a leader in the precision plastic components industry, is looking for a dedicated Process Engineer to join our high-performing team in Tuas. In this role, you will serve as the Person-in-Charge (PIC) for manufacturing engineering matters, playing a pivotal role in optimizing production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving process innovation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing plastic injection moulding processes, troubleshooting technical issues on the shop floor, and ensuring that our production workflows remain cost-effective and compliant with safety regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Serve as the primary technical lead for manufacturing engineering operations, ensuring smooth production cycles.
- Monitor and optimize plastic injection moulding processes to maximize output and minimize defects.
- Perform regular troubleshooting of machinery and processes to resolve technical bottlenecks efficiently.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and material waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and production planning, to meet delivery schedules.
- Manage technical documentation, including process parameters, engineering changes, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety (WSH) standards and internal company protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Polymer Engineering.
- Proven working experience in a plastic injection moulding environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of injection moulding machine operations, parameters, and mould maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Proficient in analytical problem-solving and root-cause analysis (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team and coordinate with shop floor personnel.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume manufacturing environment in the Tuas region.
