Gruppo EMS, Inc. is a premier manufacturing leader seeking a skilled Process Engineer (Plating) to join our high-performing technical team in Binan City, Laguna. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing chemical plating processes, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining operational efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of electroplating technologies, surface finishing techniques, and chemical management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot line issues, implement process improvements, and ensure all activities adhere to safety and environmental standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, maintain, and optimize electroplating process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for plating defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and control chemical bath concentrations, temperatures, and current densities.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, chemical consumption, and production costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, ISO standards, and environmental policies.
- Prepare and update process documentation, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Train production personnel on proper plating handling techniques and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in electroplating or surface finishing processes.
- Strong knowledge of chemical plating, anodizing, or metal finishing technologies.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and chemical data sheets.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Relevant certifications in chemical safety or process management are a significant advantage.
