Are you a detail-oriented engineering professional passionate about environmental sustainability and operational excellence? We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to join our team in Medan. In this role, you will be the primary custodian of our Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) operations, ensuring that all processes adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and meet national environmental quality standards.
As our Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in data-driven decision-making. You will monitor system performance, analyze process parameters, and troubleshoot technical issues to optimize efficiency. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a hands-on environment and is committed to maintaining compliance while driving continuous improvement in waste management systems.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure 24/7 reliability.
- Monitor and record process parameters, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory environmental quality standards.
- Perform systematic analysis of water quality data and generate technical reports for management.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and chemical process issues to prevent downtime and optimize throughput.
- Manage chemical inventory and dosing systems to maintain optimal water treatment efficacy.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions following environmental audit findings.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of critical treatment equipment.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in plant operations, specifically focusing on Wastewater Treatment (WWTP/IPAL).
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, water quality testing methods, and laboratory procedures.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to improve technical process efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and handle physical site inspections.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
- Willingness to be based in Medan and adhere to flexible operational shifts if required.
