Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and evaluate geothermal fluid geochemistry to assess its impact on power plant and field facilities.
- Conduct regular chemical analysis of brine, steam, and non-condensable gases to ensure system stability.
- Identify and mitigate scaling, mineral deposition, and corrosion risks within pipelines and heat exchangers.
- Design and implement chemical treatment programs to enhance facility efficiency and equipment longevity.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers to interpret geochemical data and refine injection strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of fluid chemistry trends and operational performance reports.
- Participate in technical investigations regarding plant efficiency losses related to fluid geochemistry.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Geology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in geothermal, oil & gas, or mining geochemistry.
- Proficiency in geochemical modeling software (e.g., PHREEQC, WATCH, or similar).
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and chemical kinetics in geothermal systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform fieldwork and collect samples in diverse environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to be based in Legazpi City and perform periodic field site visits.
