We are seeking a highly analytical Process Improvement & Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Petaling, Selangor. In this critical role, you will be the bridge between raw operational data and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and presenting complex data sets, with a specific focus on monitoring safety performance benchmarks across our Malaysia operations.
The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical tools to identify process bottlenecks, recommend efficiency improvements, and ensure our safety standards are not only met but exceeded. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor operational performance and safety metrics.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on process workflows to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Benchmark Malaysia-wide safety statistics against industry standards to ensure compliance and best practice alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements based on data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly reports for senior management detailing performance trends and safety incident analyses.
- Standardize data collection methods to ensure accuracy and consistency across all departmental reports.
- Lead root-cause analysis initiatives for operational deviations and safety-related bottlenecks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or data analytics.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Looker Studio.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Macros/VBA) are essential.
- Strong understanding of safety compliance standards and risk assessment methodologies within Malaysia.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
