Visco Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Process / Production Engineer to lead operations within our Packing Department in Perai, Penang. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring high-quality output, and optimizing packing workflows to meet increasing market demands.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical process management and daily production output. You will be responsible for streamlining packing lines, reducing downtime, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily packing line operations to ensure production targets are met with maximum efficiency.
- Conduct regular process audits to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for machinery or process failures within the packing department.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure all packed products adhere to stringent quality standards and customer specifications.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to track KPIs, machine uptime, and material usage.
- Manage maintenance schedules and coordinate with technical teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote a culture of safety and consistency.
- Train and supervise production operators on best practices for packing operations and safety compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a production or process engineering role, preferably within the manufacturing or packaging sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of automated packing machinery and conveyor systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab) and experience with ERP/MES software.
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage production floor teams.
- Willingness to work in Perai, Penang, and adhere to shift requirements if necessary.
