The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Process Technician to join our Bar Fabrication (BarFab) team in Ipoh. In this critical hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the day-to-day manufacturing processes, ensuring our world-class products meet the highest standards of quality, yield, and performance. You will work closely with a collaborative team of world-class engineers and technicians to drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement within the factory.

Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and control process parameters for the BarFab line utilizing SPC systems to maximize yield and reduce variation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process tools, jigs, and fixtures to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot process abnormalities and equipment faults, implementing effective root cause corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Process Engineers on new product introductions (NPI) and process optimization projects.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by strictly following cleanroom protocols, safety standards (OSH), and ESD control measures.
- Document and track manufacturing data accurately within the MES system, ensuring lot traceability and reporting integrity.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to operators and junior team members on SOPs and best practices.
- Actively participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities to drive operational excellence and cost reduction.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience as a Process Technician in a semiconductor, optoelectronics, or wafer fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), FMEA, and structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC).
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, vlookup) or statistical software (JMP, Minitab).
- Hands-on experience with automated handling equipment and vacuum systems is highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Malay or Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night) in a cleanroom environment.
- A proactive team player with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
