Are you an experienced plant operator looking to advance your career with an industry-leading manufacturer? UNIMATEC is seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Process Technician (RE) to join our high-performing production team located in Singapore's premier chemical hub on Jurong Island.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating, controlling, and troubleshooting key production stages to ensure maximum output, quality, and safety. You will play a vital part in maintaining operational excellence across synthesis, purification, and recovery units while collaborating with a team of skilled engineers and shift supervisors.

Tanggung Jawab
- Operate, monitor, and control chemical production processes including Synthesis, Purification, Neutralization, and Monomer Recovery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform regular plant patrol inspections, log equipment parameters, and perform initial troubleshooting of process deviations or equipment abnormalities.
- Control and monitor plant operations using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and localized PLC panels.
- Prepare, line up, and isolate process equipment for maintenance work, ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit-To-Work (PTW) systems.
- Collect process samples for quality control testing and coordinate closely with the laboratory team to adjust process parameters.
- Maintain strict compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, including hazardous chemical handling and emergency response procedures.
- Deliver comprehensive shift handover reports to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient plant operations.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or NITEC / Higher NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or refinery plant environment.
- Familiarity with DCS operation and chemical synthesis processes is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of chemical safety, emergency response protocols, and safe work procedures.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a chemical plant environment on Jurong Island.
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
