Modern Smart Design Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated Procurement Executive to join our team in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing high‑quality interior fit‑out materials, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost‑efficient project delivery across our growing portfolio. Working closely with project managers, designers and internal stakeholders, you will ensure that materials are procured on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a key part in negotiating contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and implementing procurement best practices that improve profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, possesses strong negotiation skills, and has a solid understanding of supply chain management within the construction or interior fit‑out industry.

Tanggung Jawab
- Source and evaluate interior fit‑out materials from approved suppliers, ensuring quality and cost competitiveness.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve optimal cost savings.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.
- Coordinate with project managers to align material procurement with project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement actions.
- Track market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of procurement experience, preferably in interior fit‑out, construction, or manufacturing.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP or procurement software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Knowledge of Malaysian procurement regulations is an advantage.
