Are you a strategic sourcing professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced operational environment? We are currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will be the backbone of our supply chain excellence, responsible for leading procurement operations, optimizing vendor relationships, and driving cost-efficiency across our manufacturing and logistics divisions.
The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for market trends, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record in streamlining purchasing workflows. You will not only manage day-to-day procurement activities but also play a pivotal role in shaping our long-term supply chain strategy to ensure business continuity and profitability.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to align with company operational goals.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions and maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance) to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to ensure high-performance standards and professional development.
- Maintain and audit supplier compliance, ensuring all contracts meet quality, safety, and ethical standards.
- Oversee supplier performance reviews to ensure consistent delivery, quality, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Proven expertise in contract law, vendor management, and complex price negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
