Are you a detail-oriented professional passionate about making a social impact? Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) is seeking a proactive and efficient Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team in Mandaluyong City.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring that the resources we need to drive our mission forward are sourced effectively, ethically, and cost-efficiently. You will be responsible for end-to-end procurement processes, supplier relationship management, and coordinating complex travel logistics for our staff. We are looking for someone who balances fiscal responsibility with a commitment to our organization's values, ensuring every transaction contributes to our overarching social development goals.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, from identifying requirements and sourcing suppliers to finalizing purchase orders.
  • Conduct regular market research to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality benchmarks are met.
  • Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms that align with organizational budgets.
  • Oversee staff travel coordination, including flight bookings, accommodation, and itinerary management while ensuring policy compliance.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to PBSP policies, internal controls, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive procurement reports, tracking spending, delivery timelines, and vendor performance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline workflows and improve operational responsiveness.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to optimize resource utilization.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and procurement software or ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make cost-saving recommendations.
  • Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Filipino.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative environment within a non-profit or development sector setting.
