We are actively looking for a dedicated Procurement Planner / Senior Procurement Planner to join our operations team based in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a key member of our supply chain department, you will drive the planning process to ensure that materials are available when needed, supporting our commitment to quality and efficiency. We require a candidate with relevant working experience in a material and procurement planning environment. A solid understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) is essential for this role. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain comprehensive procurement plans aligned with production schedules and sales forecasts.
- Analyze material requirements and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement control procedures to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Utilize MRP systems and ERP software to track orders, generate reports, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate terms with existing and new suppliers.
- Prepare regular procurement reports and analyze variances to improve planning accuracy.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement planning or material management within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of MRP concepts, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
