We are looking for a skilled Product Application Engineer to join our team at Mi Equipment in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this role, you will be the technical backbone for our machine vision products, ensuring successful buyoff, comprehensive training, and thorough quality issue investigation. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-performance vision solutions that drive manufacturing excellence.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting vision system buyoff, providing on-site and remote technical support, developing training materials, and leading training sessions for customers and colleagues. You will also investigate and resolve quality issues, manage technical documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our vision products.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform technical buyoff for machine vision systems to ensure they meet customer specifications and performance standards.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for vision product installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and deliver training programs for customers and internal teams on vision system operation and best practices.
- Investigate quality issues and work with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes and user manuals.
- Collaborate with product development to relay customer feedback and drive product enhancements.
- Stay updated on the latest machine vision technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in machine vision application engineering or related technical support role.
- Hands-on experience with vision system hardware and software (e.g., cameras, lenses, lighting, VisionPro, Halcon, or OpenCV).
- Strong understanding of image processing algorithms and industrial automation concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to train and support diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer site visits.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
