Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop innovative office furniture products from concept through production, balancing aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability.
- Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Conduct material research and selection, ensuring durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with industrial designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to refine product specifications.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and milestones to meet development deadlines.
- Perform structural analysis and testing to validate designs for safety and performance standards.
- Participate in design reviews, present concepts to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback to improve outcomes.
- Monitor production processes and provide technical support to ensure design intent is maintained.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design engineering, preferably in furniture, consumer goods, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and product lifecycle management tools.
- Strong understanding of materials (wood, metal, plastics, composites) and manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC, welding).
- Knowledge of ergonomic principles and applicable industry standards (e.g., BIFMA, ANSI/BIFMA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and communicate clearly.
- Portfolio demonstrating successful product development from concept to production (preferred).
