We are looking for an experienced Product Development Manager (Formulator Manager) to join a dynamic team in Jakarta Barat. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, bridging the gap between cutting-edge formulation science and market-ready wellness solutions.
The successful candidate will oversee the laboratory team, drive research and development initiatives, and ensure that all beauty, health, and wellness products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in shaping our product portfolio, transforming consumer insights into high-quality formulations that resonate in a competitive market.
We are seeking a strategic thinker who is comfortable managing cross-functional projects, from initial concept to mass production, while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and mentor a team of formulation scientists to execute new product development projects from ideation to launch.
- Oversee the research and development (R&D) laboratory, ensuring precision in formulation, stability testing, and compatibility analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Procurement teams to align product specifications with market trends and business objectives.
- Ensure all product formulations comply with BPOM regulations, international safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Manage the scale-up process from laboratory pilot batches to full-scale commercial manufacturing.
- Analyze competitor products and raw material trends to drive innovation and optimize cost-effective ingredient sourcing.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and safety data sheets.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product formulation within the beauty, cosmetic, or personal care industry.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing R&D teams and cross-functional product development projects.
- Deep understanding of cosmetic raw materials, active ingredients, and their clinical applications.
- Proficiency in regulatory requirements (BPOM, HALAL certification) for health and wellness products in Indonesia.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous eye for detail and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is mandatory.
