The Opportunity: Product Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Engineer to join our team in Calamba. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design and manufacturing. You will be the technical owner of your assigned product lines, ensuring seamless transfer from NPI to mass production, driving yield improvements, and resolving complex technical issues. Tanggung Jawab
- Drive new product introductions (NPI) from the design validation stage through to mass production ramp-up in the Calamba facility.
- Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability, testability, and cost optimization of switching power supply products.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including process flow charts, PFMEAs, and work instructions.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives for product-related issues in production, utilizing root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Identify and execute yield improvement projects, focusing on reducing defect rates and enhancing overall production efficiency.
- Conduct engineering change order (ECO) evaluations and ensure smooth transitions of design changes into the manufacturing line.
- Support customer engineering requests and factory audits, ensuring alignment with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Mentor associate engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a product engineering role within a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies (e.g., flyback, LLC, PFC) and switching power supply design principles.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and failure analysis techniques.
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as SMT, wave soldering, and product assembly is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work on-site in Calamba City, Laguna.
