Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic and technical leadership to the Product Engineering team in Batam, managing daily operations and long-term roadmap.
- Oversee the design, development, and launch of new products and enhancements to existing product lines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, setting clear goals and fostering career growth.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to align product strategies and ensure seamless technology transfer.
- Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (ISO, OSHA).
- Act as the key technical interface for internal and external stakeholders, driving innovation and solving complex engineering challenges.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a strong plus.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in managing product engineering teams, from design through to production launch.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (assembly, injection molding, metal fabrication) and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA) and New Product Introduction (NPI) methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; fluency in English is required (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects, budgets, and timelines effectively.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), PMP, or other relevant professional credentials is highly desirable.
