As a PQA Engineer at Micron, you will collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding R&D, Process Engineering, and Manufacturingâto identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for implementing robust testing protocols, analyzing complex data sets to drive defect reduction, and deploying automation tools that streamline quality control. - Lead quality engineering initiatives and drive defect reduction strategies to meet yield targets.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline quality control processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams to define quality specifications, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on product non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor product performance metrics and implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Ensure compliance with global quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous learning within the team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, yield management, and defect physics.
- Proficiency in using statistical process control (SPC) tools and quality management systems (QMS).
- Experience with AI/ML applications in manufacturing or quality assurance is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical data and quality insights to stakeholders effectively.
