As a Production Assembly Technician, you will be at the heart of our client’s operations, performing intricate mechanical and electrical assembly tasks strictly according to detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous testing procedures to ensure every product meets stringent quality standards. Your commitment to continuous improvement will see you actively participating in 5S and LEAN initiatives, helping to streamline operations, reduce waste, and maintain a world-class working environment.
Collaboration is paramount in this role; you will work closely with a supportive and dynamic team to meet daily production targets, troubleshoot assembly challenges, and implement effective solutions. Basic computer literacy is required to accurately document processes, monitor systems, and manage inventory records.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform precise mechanical and/or electrical assembly of components according to detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct in-process and final quality checks, testing assembled products to ensure they meet rigorous technical specifications and quality standards.
- Actively participate in 5S housekeeping and LEAN manufacturing initiatives to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot assembly issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, including assembly logs, test results, and inventory usage, utilising basic computer systems and software.
- Handle components and materials with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on assembly processes and contributing to process optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and actively promote a culture of safety within the team.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and written work instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of 5S, LEAN, or Six Sigma methodologies is a definite plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks while maintaining concentration and pace.
- Possession of relevant technical certifications (e.g., WSQ, NITEC) or a diploma in engineering/manufacturing is preferred.
