Join Qra Grocer's culinary team as a Production Chef specializing in Japanese Grab & Go! You'll be instrumental in crafting authentic Japanese-inspired dishes including maki, onigiri, bento boxes, and sushi platters. Working closely with our Head Chef, you'll scale production while maintaining exceptional quality standards for our discerning customers. - Prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes (maki, onigiri, bento, sushi platters) per company recipes
- Support Head Chef in scaling production for Grab & Go operations
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP compliance)
- Manage inventory of Japanese ingredients and minimize waste
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate on menu development and seasonal offerings
- Ensure timely packaging and presentation of Grab & Go items
- Train junior staff on Japanese cooking techniques
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years professional cooking experience, preferably Japanese cuisine
- Expertise in sushi preparation, bento assembly, and onigiri making
- Knowledge of Japanese ingredients, flavors, and presentation styles
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments
- Basic inventory management and cost control awareness
- Physical stamina for extended standing and fast-paced work
