Are you a detail-oriented Engineering professional with a passion for high-precision manufacturing? VDL ETG is seeking a dynamic Production Engineer to join our team in Joo Koon. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our precision machining operations, tasked with optimizing workflows, driving efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality control.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical production bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and ensure that our output consistently meets the rigorous demands of our high-tech clients. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence in a precision-focused manufacturing setting.
Tanggung Jawab
- Optimize production processes for precision machining to improve throughput and reduce cycle times.
- Develop and maintain Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machining activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with quality engineers to ensure all products meet strict precision tolerances and client specifications.
- Manage production resources, including tooling, machine capacity planning, and material flow.
- Monitor production KPIs and generate reports to track performance against output targets.
- Provide technical support and training to machine operators on CNC programming and equipment handling.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a precision machining or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code/M-code) and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and measuring instruments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and machine tool issues.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies or Six Sigma is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
