In this pivotal leadership role, you will be entrusted with managing the complete material lifecycle within our production environment. You will lead a dedicated team of material handlers, driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all material movements. Your expertise will be crucial in synchronizing material supply with production demand, minimizing downtime, and optimizing inventory costs.

You will partner with cross-functional teams including Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality Assurance to establish best practices in material flow and inventory management. Your strategic input will directly impact our operational success.
Key Responsibilities Overview: As the Production Material Lead, you will serve as the central point of contact for all material-related issues on the production floor. You will ensure the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of all materials. Maintaining optimal inventory levels to support production schedules without overstocking is a key performance indicator. You will continuously seek ways to improve material handling processes, implement Lean methodologies, and uphold the highest standards of 5S and workplace safety.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of material handlers and storekeepers to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Develop and implement material flow strategies to guarantee uninterrupted supply to production lines.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, initiating corrective actions to prevent shortages or overstock scenarios.
- Coordinate closely with Production Planning and Procurement teams to align material availability with the weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating discrepancies to improve inventory accuracy and system integrity.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, 5S, and housekeeping standards within all material storage and handling areas.
- Identify and implement process improvements in material handling and warehousing to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare and present comprehensive daily and weekly reports on material status, shortages, and team performance metrics to management.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in material management, inventory control, or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in leading, supervising, or coordinating a team of operational staff.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management principles including FIFO, JIT, and cycle counting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), and operational discipline.
