Production / Material Planner
GBM Electronics, a leading innovator in the electronics manufacturing sector based in Chemor, Perak, is currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Production / Material Planner to drive our supply chain and production operations. This role is critical to ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our business goals.
In this pivotal position, you will take ownership of the end-to-end production planning and material control functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics to coordinate schedules, optimize inventory levels, and ensure the timely delivery of products to our customers. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, monitor, and adjust daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and packaging without overstocking.
- Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to manage lead times, resolve supply issues, and maintain healthy inventory levels.
- Analyze production data and capacity constraints to identify bottlenecks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Generate and present KPI reports on schedule adherence, inventory turnover, and material shortages to management.
- Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure data integrity within the ERP system for accurate planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact between manufacturing and logistics to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in production planning and material control within a manufacturing environment (electronics industry is highly advantageous).
- Proficiency in using MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable plans.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or JIT (Just-In-Time) methodologies is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines and shipment targets.
