Laser Industries, a trusted leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules that align with customer orders and project timelines. You will work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution from raw material availability to finished goods delivery.
As a Production Planner, your decisions will directly impact on-time delivery, resource optimization, and customer satisfaction. You will analyze demand forecasts, monitor production progress, and proactively address bottlenecks or delays. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain our reputation for quality and reliability.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of production planning principles. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel is essential. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and labor.
- Monitor production progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or delays to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze production data, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights to management for decision-making.
- Collaborate with project teams to align production plans with customer milestones and project requirements.
- Identify capacity constraints and implement solutions to improve throughput and reduce lead times.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations in all planning activities.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to process optimization.
