Production Planner (Engineering & Manufacturing Exposure)

The Offer:
- Salary: Up to $3,400 per month + Performance Bonus + OT
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 5:30 pm), Saturday (8:30 am - 12:30 pm)
- Location: Ang Mo Kio, North-East Region (Conveniently located near MRT and bus interchanges)

The Role:
As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production workflows to ensure optimal efficiency and on-time delivery. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including procurement, warehouse, and sales, to align production plans with inventory levels and customer demand. This role requires strong analytical skills, foresight to anticipate potential bottlenecks, and the ability to adjust schedules promptly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a crucial part in minimizing costs while maximizing productivity and resource utilization by leveraging data and ERP systems. Specific duties include generating weekly and monthly production reports, monitoring capacity planning, and supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials and components.
- Monitor daily production output, identify process bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to track KPIs such as cycle time, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to align production plans with shipment schedules.
- Assist in evaluating production capacity and resource requirements to support business growth.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production planning or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production planning principles and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently in a structured environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
