We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Planner to join our manufacturing team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products. You will track work-in-progress, coordinate with multiple departments, and monitor production performance to optimize throughput and meet customer demands. As a Production Planner, you will collaborate closely with procurement, warehousing, and production teams to align material availability with production needs. You will use your analytical skills to forecast demand, adjust schedules, and resolve bottlenecks. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and inventory levels.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, material shortages, or production issues.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehousing, and manufacturing departments to ensure materials and resources are available.
- Analyze production data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and cycle time.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional meetings to align production priorities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning or a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is a plus.
