At TONGDA SMART TECH (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Planner to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing the flow of manufacturing activities to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with procurement, inventory, and production teams to develop achievable production plans based on demand forecasts and resource availability. You will monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules. Your analytical skills will be crucial in analyzing production data, improving processes, and reducing costs.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changes in priority.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency.
- Identify production bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve throughput.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure products meet standards.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance and key metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
