In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing production schedules, managing material requirements, and ensuring our operations run seamlessly to meet customer demand.
As a Production Planner, you will be the bridge between customer orders and the shop floor. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain accurate daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders and machine capacity.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and logistics, to resolve supply chain discrepancies.
- Analyze production performance metrics to identify areas for efficiency improvement and waste reduction.
- Proactively communicate production status updates and potential delays to internal stakeholders and management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and update ERP/MRP systems with real-time production data.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic production reports and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in production planning or material control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP software systems is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively coordinate with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced production setting.
