Astrodyne TDI is seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our dynamic team in Perai, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our operational success, ensuring that our production schedules are perfectly synchronized with customer demand and material availability.
As a Production Planner, you will leverage your analytical mindset to optimize capacity, minimize downtime, and maintain high standards of on-time delivery. You will work cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, and shop floor teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain detailed master production schedules based on sales forecasts and firm customer orders.
- Monitor and manage work-in-progress (WIP) levels to ensure optimal throughput and minimize cycle times.
- Coordinate closely with the procurement team to ensure timely material availability and avoid production line shortages.
- Analyze manufacturing capacity and load-balancing to ensure operational efficiency and meet PVA performance targets.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to schedule adherence and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) without disrupting production flow.
- Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted service to clients.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related Engineering field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning or materials control within an EMS or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, Just-in-Time (JIT) production, and inventory management techniques.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively coordinate with diverse internal teams.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets to make informed operational decisions.
