We are currently seeking a skilled Production Planner to be based in our Kulim facility. In the role of Planner, you will act as the central coordinator for our production scheduling. You will be entrusted with creating and managing comprehensive production plans that align sales demand with manufacturing capacity. By leveraging your expertise in scheduling management and production optimization, you will ensure our paper machines operate at peak efficiency. Your strategic planning will directly contribute to maximizing output, reducing downtime, and minimizing production waste, aligning perfectly with our commitment to operational excellence.

In this role, you will utilize advanced planning tools and ERP systems to forecast, schedule, and monitor production workflows. You will be responsible for analyzing production data to identify trends and potential disruptions, allowing for proactive adjustments. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage daily scheduling for the paper mill to ensure optimal machine utilization (ææįŽĄį).
- Develop and issue weekly/monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Warehouse teams to align supply with demand.
- Optimize production sequences and changeovers to maximize output and minimize operational waste (äŧåææįģæ).
- Monitor production performance against plans, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze production data and lead times to continuously improve scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and present production status reports to management.
- Ensure all planning activities adhere to company safety and quality standards.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistics/Transportation, or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. (Mandarin is highly preferred for communication with internal teams and suppliers).
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Kulim, Penang area.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Planning or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
