Join Elite Material (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. as a Production Planner - Section Head and lead our manufacturing excellence initiatives. This pivotal role requires strategic oversight of production planning, material coordination, and scheduling to optimize operational efficiency. You will leverage data-driven KPI tracking to drive continuous improvement, ensuring timely delivery and resource optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and leadership experience to manage a dynamic production environment while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and develop the production planning team to execute efficient manufacturing schedules
- Coordinate material procurement and inventory management to prevent shortages and overstock
- Optimize production workflows using data-driven KPIs (OTD, capacity utilization, yield rates)
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality departments for seamless operations
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop monthly production plans aligned with sales forecasts and capacity constraints
- Manage production budgets and resource allocation for cost efficiency
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in production planning with 2+ years in leadership role
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking and performance reporting
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain principles
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
