We are seeking a dedicated Production SMT Engineer to join our dynamic team at Supermicro. In this pivotal role, you will support our Contract Manufacturer (CM) operations, specifically focusing on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Dual In-line Package (DIP) processes. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the highest quality standards for our Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA). You will be responsible for conducting thorough Failure Analysis (FA) to identify root causes of defects, supporting Quality Assurance (QA) audits including FAI (First Article Inspection), IPQC (In-Process Quality Control), and FQC (Final Quality Control). Furthermore, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence by implementing Lean methodologies, such as 5S and Kaizen, to continuously improve production yields and efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive Failure Analysis (FA) on PCBA issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support and manage Quality Assurance (QA) audits, including FAI, IPQC, and FQC processes.
- Optimize SMT and DIP production lines to improve overall yield rates and reduce defects.
- Implement and maintain Lean manufacturing principles, including 5S and Kaizen initiatives.
- Document technical findings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality reports.
- Collaborate closely with the CM team to troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards and company quality policies.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience working in SMT production lines or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in Failure Analysis and PCBA troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of QA processes (FAI, IPQC, FQC) and quality standards.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
