About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Davao City. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee production operations, drive efficiency, and lead a team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing and logistics processes run smoothly and meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Implement and monitor strict quality control measures to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies, conducting regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process; recommend and implement lean improvements.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, coordinating with the procurement and logistics teams.
- Prepare and review daily production reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to delegate and motivate.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules and extended hours as needed in Davao City.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.
