Orion Wire & Cable is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our critical Extrusion and Winding operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will manage the daily workflow, coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure our insulated wire products meet the highest industry standards.
As a Production Supervisor, you will act as the bridge between management and the production floor. Your focus will be on driving productivity, reducing waste, and fostering a safe working environment for all employees. We are looking for a proactive professional with a strong background in manufacturing supervision who is ready to take ownership of the production line and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the Insulated Wire Extrusion and Winding departments to ensure timely production.
- Monitor production output and quality metrics to ensure all products meet strict industry standards.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across the production floor.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of production staff to maximize efficiency and resolve operational issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Conduct daily quality inspections and report any defects or deviations to management immediately.
- Prepare detailed production reports and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the wire and cable or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of extrusion and winding processes and associated machinery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse production team and handle conflict resolution.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards is a plus.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts or extended hours as required by production schedules.
