Located in the industrial heart of Sungai Petani, Kedah, we are currently expanding our operations and looking for a dedicated Production Supervisor. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and requires a professional who is fluent in Mandarin to facilitate effective communication within our multinational team and with international stakeholders.
As the Production Supervisor, you will take full ownership of the production floor's performance. Your day-to-day activities will involve coordinating manpower, optimizing machine utilization, and ensuring that every unit produced meets our rigorous quality benchmarks. You will serve as a mentor to your team, identifying training needs and fostering an environment where safety and productivity go hand-in-hand. Your bilingual capabilities in Mandarin and English/Malay will be crucial in translating management strategies into clear, operational instructions for the workforce.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily production schedules to ensure all output targets and deadlines are met efficiently.
- Supervise, train, and mentor production staff on technical operations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Communicate technical requirements and management directives in Mandarin to ensure clear understanding across the shop floor.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with the maintenance department to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production logs, inventory records, and report regularly on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing or 5S methodologies.
- Ensure strict compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and ISO quality standards.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing diverse teams and resolving workplace conflicts.
- Solid understanding of production planning, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis and reside in or commute to Sungai Petani, Kedah.
- Proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
