Are you an experienced production leader looking to take the next step in your career with a global industry leader? VDL ETG is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing our night shift assembly operations, ensuring that our high-precision equipment is manufactured to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
As a key member of our production team in Joo Koon, you will lead a team of technicians, fostering a culture of operational excellence. You will act as the primary point of contact for nightly production activities, troubleshooting issues in real-time, and ensuring that all customer requirements are met within strict deadlines. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate daily assembly operations during the night shift to ensure production targets are met.
- Monitor workflow to ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure all equipment complies with rigorous customer technical specifications.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production technicians to maximize output and operational efficiency.
- Identify, report, and resolve technical or production bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production logs and shift reports to ensure transparent communication with day-shift management.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and reduce waste.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience within a high-precision manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced shift environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and safety regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to operational problem-solving.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Ability to commit to a permanent night shift schedule for the duration of the 1-year contract.
