Celestica is a world leader in delivering innovative supply chain solutions, built on a legacy of trust and performance. We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Production Technical Operator IV to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
In this critical role, you will operate sophisticated manufacturing equipment, ensure the highest standards of quality, and contribute to a lean, efficient production environment. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and maintain a safe working environment in accordance with 5S and Lean principles.
As a Production Technical Operator IV, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of automated assembly and testing equipment. Key duties include performing changeovers, monitoring process parameters, conducting first-line maintenance, and rigorously inspecting output to meet strict quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485). You will participate in daily huddles, contribute to Kaizen events, and champion continuous improvement activities.

Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and monitor production equipment, including SMT, assembly, and testing machinery, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Perform equipment changeovers, setups, and preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules and SOPs.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections and functional tests, documenting results accurately and escalating deviations immediately.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on the production line, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production records, including batch records, work orders, and shift reports.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, quality standards (ISO 9001/13485), and 5S housekeeping practices.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, and cross-functional team meetings to drive efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior operators on equipment operation and standard procedures.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Technical Operator or Production Technician in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of SMT processes, automated assembly, and testing procedures.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and schematics.
- Proficient in using standard quality tools (calipers, multimeters, microscopes) and computer systems (MS Office, ERP systems).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong team player with good communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
