We are currently seeking a meticulous and hands-on Production Technician (Front End) to join our high-performance manufacturing team in Boon Lay. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our front-end production line, ensuring that our advanced optical components meet the highest standards of precision and quality.
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of specialized manufacturing equipment, including diamond turning machines. You will play a key role in optimizing production efficiency, troubleshooting technical bottlenecks, and maintaining a safe, high-output manufacturing environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Set up, calibrate, and operate complex manufacturing machinery, specifically diamond turning equipment, according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform front-end production tasks to ensure output meets daily targets and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct systematic troubleshooting to identify and resolve production-related quality issues promptly.
- Monitor machine performance and perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine production processes and improve yield rates.
- Maintain comprehensive production logs and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations and cleanroom protocols to ensure a safe environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean or 5S) to optimize operational flow.
Kualifikasi
- NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Precision Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a high-precision manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
- Hands-on experience with diamond turning machines or similar CNC/optical manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical or process-related issues under pressure.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems for data entry and production monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift or compressed work week if required by production schedules.
