Our client, a prominent leader in the manufacturing and logistics sector, is seeking a dedicated Production Technician (Molding Maintenance) to join their expanding team in Batangas, Calabarzon. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous, efficient, and safe operation of all molding equipment.
As a Production Technician, you will be at the heart of the production floor. Your primary responsibilities will include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, conducting root cause analysis, and executing mold changeovers. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Your Daily Impact:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment (chillers, dryers, conveyors).
- Lead mold setup, installation, and changeovers to support production schedules efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system faults.
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize machine parameters for quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a detailed log of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment performance metrics.
- Uphold the highest standards of 5S, safety (EHS), and quality (ISO) protocols.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines (e.g., Haitian, Engel, Nissei) and supporting equipment.
- Execute mold changes, setups, and color/material changeovers efficiently to minimize production downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic failures using systematic troubleshooting methods.
- Monitor machine cycles and quality parameters, making necessary adjustments to ensure product conformance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history in the CMMS.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, Lean, Kaizen) to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Enforce strict adherence to 5S housekeeping, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new molding equipment.
Kualifikasi
- At least Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or College Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in injection molding maintenance within a manufacturing plant.
- Strong knowledge of plastic molding processes, mold mechanics, and auxiliary equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
- Experience with PLCs (Mitsubishi, Siemens, etc.) and basic automation is a significant advantage.
- Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and manipulate heavy machine parts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
