Dayangcond Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious 1-Ton Lorry Driver to join our logistics and operations team in Petaling Jaya. In this role, you will be the face of our company during deliveries, ensuring that our equipment and materials reach their destinations efficiently and securely. We are looking for an individual who is disciplined, punctual, and possesses a strong understanding of road safety regulations across the Selangor region.
As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our 1-ton vehicle, performing routine vehicle checks, and ensuring that all documentation is accurately managed. This position offers a stable career path for a professional driver who takes pride in their vehicle maintenance and provides excellent service to our clients and internal departments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Safely operate a 1-ton lorry to transport goods, equipment, and materials to various locations within Petaling Jaya and the surrounding Selangor area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and safety.
- Ensure all cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, time sheets, and documentation for every trip completed.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Coordinate with the warehouse or site supervisors to ensure timely collection and delivery of goods.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as monitoring fuel, oil, tire pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Malaysian Driving License with a GDL (Goods Driving License) endorsement.
- Proven work experience as a Lorry Driver or in a similar delivery/logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of routes, maps, and GPS navigation software within the Klang Valley.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic offenses.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a professional attitude toward work.
- Able to communicate effectively in Malay or English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by operational needs.
