Are you a coffee enthusiast with a passion for the surf culture lifestyle? Karmafree Surf Shop in the heart of Uluwatu is looking for a vibrant, skilled, and energetic Barista to join our team. We are more than just a surf shop; we are a community hub where locals and travelers meet over the perfect cup of coffee.
As our Barista, you will be the face of our cafe, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional service, and maintaining the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that defines the Uluwatu scene. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty drinks.
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert recommendations on our menu offerings.
- Operate the POS system accurately, handling cash and digital transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure consistent availability.
- Engage with the local surfing community and tourists to foster a welcoming shop environment.
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and calibration for grinders and espresso machines.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a high-volume cafe environment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, milk texturing, and brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and daily reporting.
- A genuine interest in surf culture and the lifestyle associated with Uluwatu.
- Strong sense of reliability, punctuality, and personal accountability.
