Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, ensuring all food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.
- Assist the Head Chef with daily meal preparation, inventory management, and ingredient sourcing.
- Operate various kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, and commercial slicers safely and efficiently.
- Monitor food quality and freshness, ensuring that all inventory is handled and stored properly to minimize waste.
- Collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment during peak hours.
- Participate in periodic menu development sessions to suggest new ingredients and dish concepts.
Kualifikasi
- Previous professional experience working as a Cook, Commis Chef, or line cook in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation regulations, and kitchen health standards (HACCP knowledge preferred).
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to culinary excellence.
- Solid knowledge of various cooking techniques, including searing, braising, and sautéing.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
