- Prepare and plate high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking station ingredients to ensure smooth service.
- Collaborate effectively with the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely ticket fulfillment during peak hours.
- Operate professional kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, sauté stations) safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily food prep tasks, including chopping, searing, and sauce preparation.
- Adhere strictly to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maximize kitchen profitability.
- Support general kitchen maintenance and end-of-shift cleaning protocols.
Kualifikasi
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of professional cooking techniques and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure during high-volume service.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of HACCP guidelines and food sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg.
- Culinary degree or vocational certification is a plus, but not required for experienced candidates.
