Tanggung Jawab
- Safely transport goods and materials to various locations across Melaka and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are protected against damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery timestamps.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and transport regulations to ensure public and personal safety.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding route changes, delays, or vehicle issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery drop-offs and pickups.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and schedule regular maintenance checks as required.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Goods Driving License (GDL) and a clean Malaysian driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Lorry Driver or in a similar professional driving role.
- Strong knowledge of Melaka routes and general Peninsular Malaysia geography.
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy lifting associated with loading/unloading cargo.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to road safety.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an added advantage.
