As the Program Head/Dean, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape, overseeing the strategic direction of the department, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality instruction. This position requires a passionate professional who is committed to academic excellence, faculty development, and the continuous improvement of our curriculum to meet industry standards.
In this leadership role, you will manage the overall operations of the department, including faculty supervision, curriculum development, and student affairs. You will act as the primary liaison between the college administration and the faculty, ensuring compliance with educational regulations while fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily academic operations and ensure the effective implementation of the curriculum across all levels.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate faculty members to maintain high teaching standards and professional development.
- Ensure full compliance with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) regulations, school policies, and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for departmental growth, including curriculum revisions and program enhancements.
- Liaise with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance and internship opportunities.
- Supervise student affairs, including discipline, guidance, and academic support services within the department.
- Conduct regular faculty meetings, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field (Doctoral degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative capacity.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Deep understanding of Philippine educational standards, CHED policies, and accreditation processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in faculty management and curriculum development.
- Willingness to comply with the school's Code of Ethics and any other organizational policies.
