Are you a passionate automation professional looking to drive industrial excellence? Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Indonesia Supply Chain team in Citeureup. In this pivotal role, you will lead the next generation of Process Engineering Standardization, working directly under the Plant Manager to modernize our manufacturing capabilities.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our automation systems, ensuring that our plant operations run at peak efficiency, safety, and reliability. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of PLC-based automation systems to optimize plant production lines.
- Spearhead Process Engineering Standardization initiatives to align plant operations with global Ecolab excellence standards.
- Collaborate directly with the Plant Manager to troubleshoot complex technical issues and minimize machine downtime.
- Develop and update technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training manuals for automation equipment.
- Manage system upgrades, integration of new machinery, and migration from legacy control systems.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with international safety and performance standards.
- Mentor junior technical staff and provide technical support during production shifts as required.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric).
- Strong understanding of HMI/SCADA design and industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Proven ability to lead process improvement projects and influence cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of industrial safety standards (ISO/IEC) and electrical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex tasks under tight deadlines.
