Austal Ships is a global leader in the design and construction of aluminium vessels, specializing in defence, government, and commercial applications. We are currently expanding our Programs department and are looking for an experienced and motivated Programs Manager to join our team at our Balamban shipyard in Cebu. In this key role, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and successful execution of our shipbuilding programs. You will act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, ensuring that all project objectives, milestones, and deliverables are met efficiently. This position requires a hands-on approach to project management, requiring you to navigate the complexities of large-scale manufacturing while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost control. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the overall program strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of vessels and components.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement financial controls to maximize profitability.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure program stability.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance across all program activities.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program management, shipbuilding, or heavy manufacturing.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
