Project-Based Network MSP Engineer III (12-Month Contract) - Makati City
Microgenesis Business Systems, a premier provider of end-to-end IT solutions in the Philippines, is seeking an exceptional MSP Engineer III (Network) to join our team on a project-based 12-month contract in Makati City. This is a senior-level role designed for a network expert who thrives on solving complex challenges and ensuring the highest levels of service delivery for our diverse portfolio of clients.
About the Role: As the Engineer III, you will be the final escalation point for all critical network incidents. You will be responsible for the overall health, security, and performance of client networks. This includes performing deep-dive troubleshooting, implementing permanent solutions, and leading the design and deployment of next-generation network infrastructures. You will work with cutting-edge technologies including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and SD-WAN platforms.

- Ensure 99.99% network availability for all managed clients.
- Drive down incident resolution time through expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Successfully deliver complex network projects (upgrades, migrations, expansions) on time and within scope.
- Mentor and uplift the skills of junior engineering staff.

Tanggung Jawab
- Serve as the L3 escalation point for critical network incidents, performing deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis across client environments.
- Engineer, configure, and deploy advanced network solutions including SD-WAN, site-to-site VPNs, and complex routing/switching architectures.
- Ensure 99.99% network uptime and performance by proactively monitoring, identifying, and remediating potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.
- Lead high-priority project implementations such as firewall migrations, network segmentation, and cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure Direct Connect).
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams (Visio/LucidChart), and configuration standards.
- Provide expert-level administration of network security platforms (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco) and policy management.
- Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Kualifikasi
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior/Level 3 role within an MSP environment.
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Cisco routing and switching (CCNP/CCIE level), including BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
- Security Focus: Hands-on experience deploying and managing enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto) and VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL-VPN).
- Project Management: Proven ability to lead technical projects from conception through to completion, adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Certifications: Active CCNP Security, CCIE, PCNSE, or NSE 5+ certifications are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced, multi-tenant environment with shifting priorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
