MTS Fibromat is a premier infrastructure solutions provider specializing in the construction, installation, and maintenance of high-speed fiber optic networks across Malaysia. As we aggressively expand our regional operations, we are seeking a highly competent Project Coordinator to lead our site activities in the Gua Musang, Kelantan region.
This contractual position offers a dynamic work environment with a highly competitive salary ranging from RM 4,000 to RM 6,000 monthly, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities & Impact:
As the Project Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for on-site execution and client satisfaction. You will lead the daily coordination of all site activities, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and rigorous quality benchmarks. Your role involves meticulous planning and allocation of resources, including managing the logistics of manpower, machinery, and material deliveries. You will directly supervise and coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring their deliverables align precisely with project scopes and critical timelines.
Communication and Reporting Excellence:
You will bridge the gap between the project site and headquarters, serving as a key facilitator of information. This includes preparing detailed daily and weekly progress reports, documenting site issues with proposed solutions, and facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders. Your proactive approach to problem-solving will ensure minimal disruptions and optimal project flow, directly contributing to the bottom line.

- Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate the efficient deployment of manpower, machinery, materials, and equipment across project sites.
- Supervise and manage subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the project site and headquarters, facilitating clear communication and reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive daily/weekly progress reports, site instructions, and project documentation.
- Enforce strict compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) regulations and company policies.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve site issues, delays, and logistical challenges.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or site supervision, ideally within the infrastructure, telecom, or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing subcontractors and leading site teams.
- Familiarity with fiber optic network roll-out (FTTx) and associated civil works is highly advantageous.
- Strong command of MS Office Suite (MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be based in Gua Musang, Kelantan, and commit to a contract role.
- Possess a valid Malaysian driving license and own transport.
