Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, refine, and maintain detailed engineering designs and drawings for a range of innovative outdoor products using advanced CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate closely with product development, manufacturing, and sales teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs that meet functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements.
- Conduct thorough structural analysis, material selection, and feasibility studies to ensure product safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and testing protocols.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards from concept to completion.
- Identify opportunities for design improvement, cost reduction, and new product innovation, presenting viable solutions to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging materials, design software advancements, and relevant building codes/standards to maintain a competitive edge.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation processes, providing engineering support and making necessary design adjustments.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Design, or a closely related engineering field.
- Proven professional experience of 3+ years in a design engineering role, preferably within the outdoor products, furniture, construction, or manufacturing industry.
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) with a strong portfolio showcasing design capabilities.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, structural mechanics, material properties, and manufacturing processes relevant to outdoor structures.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with relevant local and international building codes, design standards, and safety regulations is a significant advantage.
